English Department Workshops a great success!

Last week the English Department ran a couple of ‘Meet the Examiner’ Workshops. These provided a unique opportunity for parents and students to join forces, learn some fantastic revision tips and take away some useful revision tools in preparation for the exams. For Year 11 this focussed on preparation for the English Language GCSE exams, whilst the Year 10 workshop centred on the English Literature GCSE exams. It was great to see our students showcasing their knowledge and a good opportunity for parents to fully understand the ins and outs of the relevant exam. Thank you to all those who attended, we hope you found the sessions useful and informative.

 

Year 10  Meet the Examiner Workshop

We also recently held a  Meet the Examiner Workshop for Year 10. It was a unique opportunity for parents and pupils to join forces, learn some fantastic revision tips, and take away some useful revision tools for their English Literature GCSE exams. It was a useful and informative evening and our pupils were able to showcase their Literature knowledge and for parents to fully understand the ins and outs of the English Literature exam.
