Student nominated at Young Citizen Awards for her fantastic fundraising efforts!
High Sheriff of Shropshire’s Outstanding Young Citizen Awards 2021
Well done to Cassie Southall who was nominated by Ms Howells, Pastoral Support & Deputy Safeguarding Lead. You may recall that Cassie courageously cut off over 8 inches of her hair and kindly donated it to the Little Princess Trust. The charity does amazing work, creating free real hair wigs for children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions. Not only that but Cassie raised £130 to support the charity’s work. We were so proud to see Cassie nominated at the recent awards for her fantastic fundraising efforts!
You can watch the recent awards ceremony that took place virtually on Thursday 18th March in the video below. Cassie’s segment appears at ~09:00.
