Shrewsbury Academy Virtual 5K Challenge
We are encouraging all students, staff, parents and members of the community to take part in our Shrewsbury Academy Virtual 5K Challenge!
Since the lockdown there will be many people who have become less active, the benefits of exercise are massive both physically and mentally. From Monday 22nd June to Friday 17th July, we are challenging you to go on as many runs or walks as you can! During this time, we hope to track how many kilometres our school community manages to clock. Everybody that takes part will receive a medal for their participation in our Virtual 5K and you can enter multiple times.
All you need to do is email a screenshot of your distance/time to – firstname.lastname@example.org. Great apps that can provide the above information amongst others are Strava, Runkeeper, Garmin, Fitbit.
Are you up for the #SA5KChallenge? Please share with your friends and post any photos of you taking part on our Facebook page from Monday – we would love to see them!
